The Client


The Shoppers Club is a new business proposal, something unique which allows offers wholesale prices on leading brand names such as Halfords, Tom Tom, Avon and much more. There are more options for shopping including clothes, electronics, Cars and Beauty products, all at special prices. The client was interested in a CMS which allows you to monitor members on the website and also a CRM which shall be used to collect customer data.

The Project


The Shoppers Club was designed using XHTML/CSS and developed using ASP.NET. The CMS allows the client to amend content and manage members. There is a member login system which allows paid members to login and buy products at wholesale prices. Some special features of this CMS are that it allows the client to switch between paid and unpaid members; it uses the iDirectDebit payment system to allow the client to manage payments by direct debit made by customers. The CRM was built using PHP/MySQL and allows the client to manage and import customer contacts. CRM systems are becoming more popular and offer the best solutions for those businesses looking to manage their customer base including Email marketing and newsletters.
